An old saying worth saying, don’t you think For our lives are over in what seems like a blink My twin and I turned eighty-two (nine years ago) and that is the truth How did we get here so fast? For yesterday we were in our youth

My twin brother who is also my age, asked this of me one week It caught me off guard and I didn’t have the right words to speak But I have been thinking about it so here’s what a twin poet does know We both have had hardships, but we have families that make our hearts glow

Remember, Today is the first day of the rest of your life!

Through thick and thin our families have enriched our lives beyond measure We cherish every member of the Tinebra clan, they are indeed our treasure Without exception they are all beautiful souls who believe in a higher power Yes, the years have flown by and like most of us we feel we’re caught in the “rush hour”

But we know each day and every moment is a precious gift from heaven above Both of us feel that Our Merciful Lord continues to shower us all with His love! Life does go by fast and the older you get the faster it seems to go by So, to our family we say “stay close and strong in your faith before life says goodbye”
