What if ……
What if the trials in your life were meant to save your soul? And the adversities you have faced were meant to help you to grow in the spirit How else would you have come to know The Lord in your time here?
What if all the rejections and disappointments had a higher purpose The lessons learned have helped to make you stronger in your faith! What if the unanswered prayers were to your benefit in the eyes of the Lord!
What if all the difficulties and hard times were meant to raise you up! We have to trust in The Lord in all things! We all have had our share of hard times but there are the good times too!
The one thought that should sustain us through all our trials is that since God is infinitely compassionate and merciful He will always arrange our lives to be the best possible way for us to get to heaven We have free will to make whatever choices we wish But after each choice God will arrange things again to save us!
He does this so that we continue to have the best possible path to salvation That path may include sickness and pain and loneliness, and things that we do not want But we must trust that God knows what He is doing, and have absolute faith in Him He will provide for us the best way to reach heaven To think otherwise would be to limit His love and mercy, and that is impossible!
Since we are his children, we will possess “The Blessings He keeps for His people” For if we share Christ's suffering, we will also share His Glory! Through suffering we can learn patience, self-discipline, trust, and many other “virtues” When we suffer we can experience the love, compassion, and self-denial of those who help us When we help someone who is suffering, we find significance in our own lives as well
